       Another high-quality coffee shop "Alfred { Coffee & Kitchen }" on Melrose, is now open in LA :)  Han Han visited today and had a cup of Cappuccino and a apple fantés, very nice brunch combination.  The baristas are outfitted in apparel provided by rag & bone. The coffee is Stumptown coffee. The pastry items are from Susina Bakery. 

       住在LA西邊的人有福了！除了urth cafe之外，Melrose上又新開一間充滿時尚和文青(hipsters)的咖啡店“Alfred { Coffee & Kitchen }”。簡單的兩層黑白裝潢、俏皮新潮的鬍子icon，讓整間店除了咖啡香味之外，更增添許多讓人愛不釋手想要待上半天的時間。在Alfred { Coffee & Kitchen }工作的咖啡師們，配合Melrose上的時尚，制服都是穿rag & bone。而Alfred { Coffee & Kitchen }的咖啡豆是用第三波精品咖啡龍頭之一的Stumptown coffee，Han Han 點了一杯Cappuccino，還蠻不錯的。

有沒有發現近期內所謂的Fashion Illustration/時尚插畫，
已經不在是早期鮮艷直線條的copic 奇異筆當道，
而是水彩、鉛筆、墨水手繪質感復合式表現呢？
 
Conrad Roset和Aki Miyajima兩者來自地球兩端不同國籍、不同性別，
但風格及創作方式卻極微相似。
 
與台灣的插畫家市場風格不同的是：
Conrad Roset和Aki Miyajima走的路線與風格是即使用水彩為上色的媒彩，
也不失讓人印象強烈的感覺，
結合鉛筆與墨水線條的點綴，
把作品呈現的更加成熟完美。
通常水彩上色帶來的感覺往往會表現較柔和平淡， 
而衣服則不再是時尚插畫焦點，
焦點是如何把這些女孩插圖與時尚做結合。
 
插畫家小簡介:
Conrad Roset 畢業於西班牙巴塞隆納的Faculty of Fine Art，
他透過網路的力量把自己的插圖讓大家認識，
因此有機會進入到自由插畫家這份領域，
並且進入知名西班牙服飾品牌Zara工作，
一年之後，他離開Zara開始的自由插畫家的身分，
與許多不同公司合作，同時也在世界各地的畫廊展覽自己的作品。

Han Han went to "Handsome Coffee Roaster" yesterday, and saw one of the owners, Michael Philips! He is the 2010 World Barista champion and 2009 + 2010 US Barista champion. 

Besides Intelligentsia coffee, Han Han also recommend this coffee shop too. If you live in LA, come to enjoy a cup of coffee!
